Chapter 3 of Guerrilla Marketing goes over the 16 secrets of guerrilla marketing. The common theme with all of these that makes them easier to remember is they all end with "ent." They are commitment, investment, consistent, confident, patient, assortment, subsequent, convenient, amazement, measurement, involvement, dependent, armament, consent, content, and augment.
Levinson argues that every single one of these 16 secrets are the key to a successful marketing campaign. After reading all of the explanations for each one, I'm inclined to agree. They all seem to boil down to investing in a solid, long-term approach to marketing while utilizing all of the tools at your disposal.
By identifying specific ways of implementing each of these 16 secrets and setting goals to measure their success, you are giving yourself a head start compared to another start-up that may be lacking in focus.
